Who We Are
At Operation Dignity Veteran Outreach Inc., we are dedicated to serving those who served us. Founded by John Sanders, a former Navy veteran who served from 1981 to 1987, this mission is deeply personal. After his military service, John went years without knowing about the benefits available to him and has faced his own challenges navigating the VA system. Those experiences inspired him to help other veterans avoid facing those challenges alone.
Through our mobile outreach unit, we provide showers, hot meals, clothing, transportation to VA appointments, and information about available VA resources. We also assist veterans with the documentation process and help them understand and access the services and benefits they may be entitled to.
John's goal is simple: to help as many veterans as possible get the help they deserve. Regardless of whether they served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Space Force, every veteran deserves dignity, respect, and a helping hand when they need it most.
